SHOTPROS meets the Police President in Berlin
The SHOTPROS project, represented by Markus Murtinger (Coordinator, USECON) and Ivo Engelmann (Head of Department III Operational Training, Berlin Police) had a very productive meeting with Dr. Barbara Slowik (Police President in Berlin), Marco Langner (Police Vice President) and the board of directors of the Berlin Police.
During the high-level meeting, the project was presented and potential outcomes and impacts were discussed. Since SHOTPROS aims to improve the performance of European police and enhance current training practices by using VR technology, the focus of the meeting was to expose the benefits for the Berlin Police.

The new police study compares technology-enhanced training modalities to provide insights about didactical aspects for the SHOTPROS police training.
SHOTPROS is currently developing the first prototypical Virtual Reality (VR) scenarios based on the outcomes from the requirement workshops and the assessment of existing trainings.
