SHOTPROS at the OSCE
SHOTPROS got invited from the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) to the Annual Police Academies Network Meeting at the Hofburg in Vienna on the topic of “Future Police Training”.
Markus Murtinger (USE) and Sebastian Egger-Lampl (AIT) attended the meeting and presented the ideas and approach of SHOTPROS within a special network for Police & Security Training. The presentation focused on the use of modern technology and innovative developments in police training. The audience was very interested in the project and looks forward to the further progress and outcomes of SHOTPROS

SHOTPROS launches a new international study to investigate stress factors during police interventions in order to develop a risk assessment tool.
The new police study compares technology-enhanced training modalities to provide insights about didactical aspects for the SHOTPROS police training.
SHOTPROS is currently developing the first prototypical Virtual Reality (VR) scenarios based on the outcomes from the requirement workshops and the assessment of existing trainings.
